Brian Kelly is running for the Senate because the government needs to come back to the people! Limited government spawns both liberty and freedom.
Brian Kelly announced his candidacy for the United States Senate at Independence National Park, directly across the street from Independence Hall on October 18, 2011. At the same time, Kelly received the prestigious endorsement of the Independence Hall TEA Party. On April 19, 2012, the TEA party notified the candidate that they could not support a write-in candidacy.
The Kelly campaign is reminding Pennsylvanians that to vote for Brian Kelly in the April 24th Primary, it is as simple as writing "Brian Kelly," under in the spot for US Senator on the PA ballot.
At venues in which Brian has spoken, the people have expressed disappointment in the current Administration and overwhelmingly support the RRR plan, which Kelly has put forth. Bob Casey Jr.'s less than lackluster efforts to represent Pennsylvanians is most notable as Republican challengers suggest that the Senator appears to be in hiding. Maybe they are right. When have you seen him last? When Brian Kelly invited Casey to debate, the out-of touch Senator laid low fearing that if he acknowledged another Pennsylvanian and showed poorly in the debate that it would hurt his chances for reelection. Brian Kelly again is working for Pennsylvanians so that our dreams do not remain crushed by the tag team of Barack H. Obama and Robert P. Casey Jr.
As part of his plan to revitalize America, Brian Kelly developed a program for economic recovery and job creation called RRR. Many of the articles on this site have been updated to help all Pennsylvanians understand that we really can be free from the tyranny of the current Administration -- at last!
Cleaning Out the House and Senate

Ladies and gentlemen, house-cleaning begins at home. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will not take the fall for all of America. They will not come into their friend Bob Casey's territory to help his constituents (US) clean our political house, as they are the masterminds of why we are where we are. I regret to say that our Senator is their friend much more than he is our friend.
If we are not willing to clean out our contribution to the major problems of an unresponsive, anti-Pennsylvania Congress at home, there sure is no reason for the citizens in other states to "bail us out."
We are in this jam because our Representatives for many years have forgotten "We the People." Every town in America has no choice but to expel this Congress in 2012 so they cannot hurt us again. Regardless of whether this Senator helped you or your family get a job, get a contract, or get a new playground for your community, every citizen of Pennsylvania is paying for it big time including you and me.
How bad would it be if we let the bums stay in office to do more damage to America?
It is a silly question because all Americans who are awake know that the Congress has stopped taking direction from the people, and the President has stopped enforcing American laws. Congress and the president are responsible for the jobs situation because businesses do not want their earnings redistributed to people who choose not to work. And, so the economy is rotting, and the people are barely surviving while Congress and the President feast on caviar and bon-bons. It's time we sent them all looking for a job.
This little section of this article was orignally written for Congress and the president and not for you. But, if you are looking for an OK to throw out the whole Congress, this is where you want to be.
When I wrote this, it was for the 435 Representatives in the 111th House of Congress who were up for reelection in 2010 and it was also for 1/3 of the Senators who were also up for reelection.
These were all part of a Congress, the 111th, which was the most corrupt Congress of all time. This Congress sold out America to please a socialist / progressive President.
Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen. Thank you for inviting me tonight.
I issued a press release yesterday, Monday, March 5, 2012. I am using a part of the press release merged with some other material I would like to share with you all for my discussion of the RRR plan this evening. First some stuff from the release:
A retired Marywood University Professor from Wilkes-Barre is challenging U.S. Senator Robert P. Casey. Brian Kelly is running as a write-in candidate.
Sixty-four year-old Brian Kelly entered the race October 18, 2011 and received the prestigious endorsement of the Independence Hall TEA Party. His web site is www.kellyforussenate.com.
"The people are more fed up with Bob Casey Jr. as each day goes by, and they cannot stand that our country is so sick, and there is no healer out there yet who can make us well.” Kelly said.
RRR: The Best Solution for America- Designed by an American
When I announced my candidacy to run against Robert P. Casey in October 2011 for the US Senate, I knew that it would be much more difficult than my local congressional venture in PA D-11. I had already examined the economic and job killing problems caused by the Barack H. Obama / Robert P. Casey Jr. administration, and I knew that with the proper plan, a good government could turn the economy around.
Have you noticed that neither the President nor Casey appears interested in helping people get back to work? You may know that when Obama came into office just 30% of the people paid no taxes. Now, that number is 47% and it is expected to soon pass 50%.This is not an accident. It is the Casey / Obama plan.
I am not prepared to accept that America should fail. So, in late 2011, after analyzing the problems with the economy and jobs, I developed a guaranteed solution that can help Americans beat the government and gain a real economic turnaround. The full plan comes with a bonus package of lots of jobs.

Some Employers Are Not Quite American
Two years ago, I decided that the corrupt and indifferent politicians in Washington had to be replaced by real people. That is when I decided to run for Congress. I had no funding and chose not to take a dime from anybody. Our D-11 representative had become a career politician. Somewhere between term 1 and term 13, he had begun to represent himself and his family, and the local political hacks, who continually assured his election.
I was both disgusted and frustrated with this representative. So, I said to myself: “If not me, then who?” I was a College Professor at Marywood University at the time and I knew I would be able to handle my career and prepare a regular-person-type campaign to run for the Democratic nomination against the incumbent and a young county commissioner, who had become deeply involved in politics.
I was very reluctant to run for office as most would be. However, at 62 years of age, I realized that it was the right time in my life to give something back to help Pennsylvania and to help America.

Sometimes we get the government we deserve!
But, when we make a mistake, by the grace of this country's Founders, we can correct it through an innovative notion that corrupt politicians refer to as "the next election," a phenomenon they never forget. Well, we the people do forget the next election too often but not this time! We can deserve a better government if we act properly in this next election.
Poor quality changes often begin with something small that is not noticed right away. Some see the EPA’s decision on light bulbs as a simple innocuous act. On its own, perhaps that conclusion has validity, but not when the history of government regulations is brought into the picture.
After more than a hundred years, our government has taken away the right to use the Ben Franklin / Thomas Edison incandescent light bulb. Who doesn’t use them? So, a small government commandment becomes a big deal. Out of nowhere, light bulbs are bad and human exhalant is bad and cattle flatulence is bad and farm dust is bad. For years, milk has been treated as a toxin. What is that all about? It is all about the government taking away all personal freedom to satisfy its own perverted ideology

For Pennsylvanians, Robert P. Casey Jr., Is the "Unknown Senator."
We're all sorry about that!
Robert P. Casey Jr. is pictured in the beginning of this article because he is the antithesis of what is good for Americans and what is good for Pennsylvanians. Other than a few scattered photo ops over the last six years, Casey has been absent from local PA events. For example, he was a no-show at the Plymouth Twp. Annual Kielbasa Festival. I know because I was there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTbEfLdKZc4
Unlike his father, who was a fine statesman, and a great Governor, Mr. Casey Jr. has been against just about everything that would help regular Americans, and for our state, plain ole Pennsylvanians. The Senator did perform very well, however, as one of many water carriers for Barack Hussein Obama but few in PA can suggest he did anything more. Unfortunately, for the Citizens of Pennsylvania, Senator Casey had little time, and so he shall be remembered when he leaves office this fall as an unknown around Pennsylvania. A very high ranking unknown for sure, Mr. Casey Jr. is the “unknown senator.”

When Big Time Politicians Line Up Against Regular People, the People Lose
So, Let’s send them home this time and never let them come back.
Two years ago, in the waning years of the heyday of Information Technology, I was a successful Assistant Professor in the Business Information Technology at Marywood University in Scranton, PA. Additionally, I ran my own IT consulting practice. From my perspective, I was an average guy trying to make ends meet in a tough, competitive world, and because of hard work, for the most part I was successful.
In my personal life, like many I became concerned that our government had gotten out of touch with the people and our national officials were doing everything but representing the people. So, I decided to help out. My first venture was to run for Congress in 2010 because politicians had failed in their job of representing the people. There is no other explanation. They forgot that “We the People” run the country and the role of our representatives is to support and represent US.
It seems like most of us have gotten the infamous email attributed to Charley Reese. Reese picked this title for his piece:
"The 545 People Responsible For All Of U.S. Woes."

How Can any Real Recovery / Jobs Plan Pass Obama/Casey Muster
Having written forty-six books and numerous articles, with seven books in the patriot classification, by sheer volume, I have become one of America's most straightforward and some say, “eloquent conservative spokesmen.” I am very proud to be the author of Taxation without Representation, Obama’s Seven Deadly Sins, Healthcare Accountability, Jobs Jobs! Jobs!, Americans Need Not Apply, Kill the EPA, and many other books.
Like many Americans, I am fed up with the progressive / Marxist agenda in Washington that places the needs of everyone and everything in front of the needs of Americans. So, quite simply, I believe it is time to adopt a plan built for recovery—the RRR plan. Unlike every candidate’s set of meaningless talking points, the RRR plan is not just lip service to get elected.
I began my venture of running against Senator Casey, knowing that it would be difficult to achieve the ballot access requirements. When my team told me there was no way we could get all the signatures we needed, I figured that we were done and so, with urging, I withdrew my candidacy. So, for a while, I was able to say that I was running for no office.
Preparation & Speech from Feb 21 in Lebanon PA.
This is the speech delivered by former Senate Candidate Brian Kelly at All About You Catering in Lebanon PA with annotations. At the bottom there is a link to the expanded handout for the meeting.
The annotations are because I got some questions from the audience about what I really meant by such and such. So, the annotations are explanations that were not in the speech.
This speech was written to convince the US Senate candidates at the meeting that the RRR plan had both the substance and the appeal of the constituency that any candidate who would accept RRR as his platform (only males running), would have a better opportunity for success in becoming a Senator and the AMerican people would have a better chance of coming out of what can only be called, the "Obama Funk."

PA US Senate Candidate Kelly Challenges Presidential Candidates to Adopt Unique RRR Plan
Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania – January 11, 2012 --- Brian Kelly, a US Senate Candidate from Pennsylvania today announced an original approach to re-awaken the US economy with a concept that he calls R-R-R: a unique plan for economic recovery and job creation. Kelly is offering the plan, complimentary—free-of-charge to all presidential candidates, including President Barack H. Obama and any Democrat who chooses to challenge the current President.
“I think that any of the Republican candidates can get the same level of traction from adopting the Kelly RRR plan as Herman Cain got from announcing his 999 plan. All presidential candidates are welcome to co-opt the entire RRR plan and make RRR their own mantra. RRR is not only a sound plan for recovery; it is actually a great marketing notion.
“Since I have a marketing background in that I worked for IBM and I taught Marketing Management as my first collegiate undergraduate course, I guarantee that any candidate can secure marketing traction by adopting the RRR plan as his own plan. I am more concerned about saving the country from its current death spiral than I am about any rights of my own to this comprehensive RRR plan,” Kelly said.

The burden is on the people
Can you believe what the President and our representatives have been doing to US over the last three years? If we were to call them by name, the list would include Obama and Casey.
We have had the worst of the worst—bailouts, porkulus, debt, deficits, de-facto cap and trade energy tax, excessive regulation, offshoring, Obamacare, rampant socialism, redistribution, illegal immigration, immigrant preference for American jobs, government control, and worse than all of that, no apparent interest in solving our economic dilemma or the lack of jobs and the dilution of the wage scale.
What a legacy for Congress and the Administration. It is a wonder how Obama has managed to maintain double digit approval for such a dismal record. He now tries to keep his distance from Congress but most smart members of Congress are keeping their distance from Obama. Even Bob Casey Jr. chose not to be with the President when he came to Scranton, Casey's home city, in late 2011.
The list of bad policies goes on but you already know the list. Though the question is hackneyed from overuse, let me say it anyway as it is very important for us not to forget. "Is it not time that we the people take back our government and make it work for US again?" Our first objective as voters and as regular people in America must be to remove all corrupt politicians from office.
Read more: A huge government, carried by the people, on our backs.
What motivates me to run for Office, and believe me, this is the second and the very last time, is that I know and you know that we can’t fix the problems in Washington by sending back the same people who created them. Of course I speak of politicians. I define a politician as a person who once elected, aspires to be re-elected and begins the re-election campaign on the day of inauguration. Pennsylvania needs representatives who are of the people and for the people, who are not and who do not wish to be politicians. I know that I am not a politician, but because my name was out there two years ago, some may not see it that way.
I am a lifetime Pennsylvanian. You won’t believe how tough it is for me to try to convince somebody that I am not doing this for me. I must admit that it is disheartening that the same people, who would complain loud and long about entrenched politicians destroying our America, cannot recognize an honest, serious effort such as mine. The only thing I do not have and have never had is the funds to run an effective campaign. I do have the will and the ability to help America if selected to do so.
I took on the challenge to run for Congress two years ago and at the time, I refused to take a dime because I believed and I still believe that the Founders did not create a country so that those willing to represent their peers should need to go broke in doing so. The process of soliciting money for one’s selfish political ends is distasteful to me and so I will not do it.
Political Corruption
No matter how far you look, even in our wonderful state of Pennsylvania, you will find nepotism, cronyism and lots of corruption. Some think Luzerne County, my home county, leads the corruption brigade for the country. If it weren't for Cook County (Chicago), Maybe they would be right!
All of these ills occur at the local level, the state level, and also on the national stage. When special interests and lobbyists flaunt their affiliations with our current leaders, it is a prescription for bad government. All of the corruption must end now! None of us should care in which level of government corruption occurs. It is all bad, and the people are the losers!
This is a fairly lengthy essay and the tone is to help us all unite to eliminate corruption in many aspects of government and the political process from ideology to honesty and truth and the lack thereof. . There are three main parts to this essay. In the first part, we discuss corruption in Washington DC, and how it affects us, and what we can do about it. In the second part, we look at NASA and other areas in which the US is about to abrogate its leadership role in the world. In the third part, we wrap it up with a look at healthcare with Obamacare and what is neded when we finally repeal this corrupt and dishonest legislation. FiInally, we summarize and offer a few additional points to help US prosper in the future in a less corrupt world with a stronger America.
Senate Candidate Kelly’s Top Priority – Economic Recovery
The top priority for a Brian Kelly Senate term is easy to identify. The US is so down that I think the best use for the time any Washington official can spend on the affairs of government is to help the US economy recover, and for Pennsylvania legislators it is to also assure that Pennsylvania gets jobs and a proper share in the recovery.
You know that Mark Twain once observed that a lie can get halfway around the world before the truth can even get its boots on. His observation rings true as we see urban legends, conspiracy theories, and bogus public-health scares circulating effortlessly. Yet, people with really important ideas often find the ideas go nowhere.
Think of business people, teachers, journalists, and even those trying to accomplish political goals such as getting elected Senator of these United States. Think how they all struggle to make their unique ideas stick. Sometimes the marketing in these cases appears far more important than the message as the intended recipients (we the people in most cases) are mostly numb from all the marketing. So, in addition to having a good plan, our legislators must be able to communicate that plan so that the people understand it and can differentiate that plan against all others purporting to be “the” solution.
********* Press Release *********
Senator Casey Ignores Democratic Candidate Brian Kelly’s Request to Debate:
Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania – December 29, 2011 - Brian Kelly, Democratic US Senatorial Candidate from Wilkes-Barre PA, publicly announced today that he has invited Senator Robert P. Casey, Jr. of Scranton, PA to a televised debate in a modified Lincoln Douglas style at the Barney Inn in Wilkes-Barre PA.
Kelly emailed the Senator on December 15, and promised to wait seven days, hoping to be able to include Senator Casey’s response in this press release. After fourteen days, Senator Casey has not responded.
“Senator Casey knows that I am just an ordinary Pennsylvania citizen and just as he has ignored my pleas and the requests of other Pennsylvanians over his five years in the US Senate, the Senator has again chosen to ignore what is best for Pennsylvanians, hoping that you and I will simply go away. However, I have no plans to go away, and with America in dire need of recovery, I bet you have no plans to go away either.” Kelly said.
RRR: A Unique Plan for Economic Recovery and Job Creation
During his speech announcing a run for the US Senate against incumbent Robert P. Casey Jr. at Fisher’s Barney in on October 21, 2011 in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, in response to a question, Brian Kelly introduced the first three prongs of his now infamous RRR plan for economic recovery and job creation. Each prong of course is represented by a solitary letter, “R.”.
Kelly hails from Wilkes-Barre and both his campaign announcement and his RRR plan were greeted by the Democrats and Republicans with abundant applause. Earlier in the week, Kelly had similar outings in Philadelphia and Harrisburg where he received the endorsement of the Independence Hall TEA Party and the Independence Hall TEA Party PAC.
Upon his return from the week of announcements, Kelly immediately began to write the RRR book, which is subtitled, A Unique Plan for Economic Recovery and Job Creation. Take the link to read it.

The EPA loves Mother Nature but is not very fond of human beings!
Even before that, Kelly had begun to address his campaign against the major over-regulations, from which Americans suffer in business and in their personal lives.
Kelly hails from Wilkes-Barre and both his campaign announcement and his RRR plan were greeted by the Democrats and Republicans with abundant applause. Nobody wants government in control of their lives. Earlier in the week, Kelly had similar outings in Philadelphia and Harrisburg where he received the endorsement of the Independence Hall TEA Party and the Independence Hall TEA Party PAC.
Upon his return from the week of announcements and endorsements, in addition to beginning his work on a book reflecting the salient notions of his campaign, which he called RRR, available on this site for free, Kelly read and reread the book he had in progress and which was almost completed. This earlier book was titled, Kill the EPA, the book which we are now discussing. We have a lot more to say about Kill the EPA, right here an this site. Take the link to read it.
America and Americans First
You and I both probably know a lot of fine people, who are non-citizens, who are here legally on a visa or on a green card. This thesis is not to suggest that we send any of them back home until their visa is up. As nice as we are to foreigners in America, assuring they have jobs as a condition of staying in America, we need to take care of Americans first.
There are lots of different visa categories all over the alphabet, and just about each of them involves a foreign national gaining a job, often a very good job, in the United States. Whose job is it that they get? Think about that! It may be yours.
Nobody can suggest that the H-1B visa is the most devastating permission slip for aliens to take American jobs. However, there is no question that this particular visa and several like it do take away our best jobs and give them to people who are not Americans. So, it is no wonder our children who graduate from the finest schools cannot find work.
Big Government Doesn't Work
The government of the United States was once run by the people. That is how it was set up and that is how it was intended to be. Today, the national government is so big, way too big, and the leaders are so brash that in many ways they do whatever they want, and we the people can go to well, you know where.
Why would the US government grant over 1.1 million temporary work visas last year to foreign nationals with more than that scheduled for this year? Are we not in a major recession? Why would the US government grant over a million permanent residence documents (green cards) last year with even more to come? A green card as you may know is an official US document issued by the U.S. government to aliens, allowing them to have permanent residence and to work legally in the United States.

Platform Bullets -- Influenced by Alan Keyes
"It's time for Sen. Bob Casey to let us know whether he has come to his senses and taken the side of hardworking Pennsylvanians or if he will continue to blindly follow President Obama's failed agenda,"
Read more about Casey and Obama:
The bottom line as I see it is: “If you like Barack Obama and his progressive policies, you are ‘gonna’ love Bob Casey.”
As I was evaluating the items to include in the platform for my run for the US Senate, I was able to use the existing detailed work of conservative Alan Keyes to help quantify all of the many issues faced by the American people. By the way, Alan Keyes is a phenomenon, who ran against Barack Obama for Senator from Illinois. Keyes knew something about Obama then that we Democrats are only now discovering.
The unknown senator with the Casey family name
The late Robert Casey Sr. is recognized by most Pennsylvanians and many Americans as a good man and a very good past governor of Pennsylvania. Robert Casey Jr. in his own right is also very well known but not as well known as his father. He too may very well be a good man. Unfortunately, for Pennsylvanians, Casey Jr. is not a good Senator. If he were representing the interests of California or Nevada, Casey Jr. might be OK, but he has not been good for Pennsylvania.
Nobody would suggest that Robert P. Casey Jr. is good for nothing because he is a very good Senator for Barack Obama. When Casey takes the time on occasion to emerge from Obama’s pocket, he represents Obama and the interests of left wing progressives in the Democratic Party very well. Unfortunately, he does not do the same for the working class people of Pennsylvania.
The Casey / Obama Record
Casey Jr. purports to represent Pennsylvania while his report card says something else. The man is so deep into Obama’s camp that even if he loses his Senate race, and I hope to help him in that regard, he may be seen for years after his loss, still hanging onto Obama’s coattails looking for more orders.
One thing for sure, from my examination of the Senator’s record, future generations will not find his name in the archives of senators who have significantly helped Pennsylvanians.
Those, who know the Senator’s record, have a lot to say about him and those who pay attention are not very pleased with that record. Here is an Internet quote from a blogger that sums up much of the sentiment:
“… just look at his voting record since he got to Washington. He [SIC] name may as well be Obama.”
Obama and Casey are a team in Washington, for sure. Analysts find him in lockstep with the Obama agenda even when Obama is voting against the pro-life agenda. So, why does Bob Casey say he is pro-life when he is not? Is he a hypocrite? You will have to make that call.
