Hilton Speech October 18, 2011

Harrisburg, PA

Good afternoon ---   My name is Brian Kelly.

I am happy to announce that I am running for the Senate of the United States of America against Robert P. Casey Jr.

This morning I was at Independence Hall in Philadelphia where I received the endorsement of the Independence Hall Tea Party I am a TEA Party member and I love what the TEA Party does for regular Americans like you and I. A big thank you to Don Adams and TEA Party organization for their endorsement.

There is little doubt that these are tough times.

Nobody really knows how many dips there will be in this recession

But we do know that without controls on spending, our wild deficit and debt will keep us in recession for years to come.

America needs to become like we were before the progressives-- Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and of course Pennsylvania’s own Bob Casey Jr. took power from the people.

In this light, I have outlined eight major principles that I will use as a guide in helping our country recover and prosper:  These are.

1. Americans First – Jobs, Border security, fence, States’ rights, shut down excessive legal and all illegal immigration, reward businesses that hire Americans
2. Fiscal Conservative--- no bailouts, no takeovers, no porkulus, for balanced budget amendment, reinstitute Glass Steagall, repeal CRA, repeal Dodd / Frank!
3. Hold Line on Taxes – John Kennedy style and the FAIR Tax. ,
4. Pro-Life – Human life begins at conception
5. Smaller Government – Downsize or eliminate harmful, costly agencies such as the EPA, FDA, USDA, Interior, etc. repeal Obamacare.
6. Transparency / accountability – openness, Fire all czars
7. Pro Israel – Israel is our only friend in the Middle East
8. Strong Defense—“Speak softly and carry a big stick,” win all wars in which we engage. Exit strategy -- get out quickly with a win.

Today, JFK, my favorite Democrat, would be considered a conservative!

My views on taxation are very similar to JFK’s

His were modeled after those of Andrew Mellon from the 1920’s recession.
Both Mellon and JFK knew how to end a recession and so do I.

Here’s what Kennedy had to say. I have two quotes:

"In short, it is a paradoxical truth that ... the soundest way to raise the revenues in the long run is to cut the rates now… And the reason is that only full employment can balance the budget, and tax reduction can pave the way to that employment. The purpose of cutting taxes now is not to incur a budget deficit, but to achieve the more prosperous, expanding economy which can bring a budget surplus."
--- JFK, Nov. 20, 1962, news conference  BTW, that was right after the Cuban Missile Crisis. Kennedy was already on to domestic issues.
________________________________________
Here’s Kennedy again on taxation:

"Lower rates of taxation will stimulate economic activity and so raise the levels of personal and corporate income as to yield within a few years an increased – not a reduced – flow of revenues to the federal government."
-– JFK Jan 17, 1963, annual budget message to Congress, fiscal year 1964

If the Democrats had listened to Kennedy, our current recession would be over

No Progressives will ever give a Kennedy type of taxation message. They just don’t get it

By cutting taxes up and down the line and reducing spending, JFK was looking for a big revenue surplus – not a deficit.

By increasing spending and increasing taxes Obama has been creating huge deficits and increasing debt

Obama is far more tricky than Nixon. He's got a new name for this trick now that he is trying to get reelected again. He calls it a Jobs bill.  I call it tax and spend.

What does the so called jobs bill have in it?

It’s the same stuff with lipstick--  increased spending, increased taxes, larger deficits and  crippling debt. Even the Beatles would call out Obama and Casey on this. Remember this tune?- “No, No, No, Not a Second Time…” Does anybody remember this?

Substitute Obama for the word Oh! And it is a take.

Oh, you're giving me the same old line,
I'm wond'ring why,
You hurt me then, you're back again,
No, no, no, not a second time.

Senator Bob Casey has been with Obama 98% of the time. He has been with Pennsylvanians 2% of the time. By the way, that Beatles song applies to Casey also No, No, No, Not a Second Time --

The bottom line on Kennedy is: Don’t plan on Obama or Casey switching to Kennedy economics any time soon.

As I was reviewing this speech last Saturday, my wife called me in for a nice breakfast, and afterwards I glanced at the editorial section of the Times Leader, the local paper. The headline read, “Obama can ease housing crisis.”  My Irish wit overwhelmed me and I repeated the headline for my wife and my sons, and I added an appropriate ending: “Obama can ease housing crisis by moving out of the White House.” Now, that is as good a double entendre as I have ever fashioned!

So, you know that I did not just come out of nowhere into your midst, like President Obama, I want you to know I have been around a long time, and I have always been a Democrat. Like many Democrats, I think for myself.

I have been around so long; I had the time to write 45 books on high tech and political topics.

I have the business experience we need to get moving from my career with IBM, as a business professor and as an industry consultant,

My last five books along with my newest book titled Kill the EPA mirror my eight guiding principles.

 Taxation Without Representation--- "Can the U.S. Avoid Another Boston Tea Party?
 Obama's Seven Deadly Sins
 Healthcare Accountability
 Jobs! Jobs! Jobs!
 Americans Need Not Apply!
 Kill the EPA!

I want you all to know that you can rely on me as to where I stand on all of the issues that we are facing.  You can rely on me to speak the truth and be assured that the trust that you place in me will be honored. You can count on me to do what I pledge to do. I speak from just one side of my mouth.

I am proud to say I am an American and I love America. I may be of Irish descent but my father taught me that I am an American first.

Americans are the hardest working people in the world because Americans are descendents of strong and rugged people from all over the world.

I love the United States of America just as it was founded in 1776.
In those days, Independence Hall meant independence for all---

Americans that is, in America.

Much revolutionary blood was spilled for our freedom and liberty, and yet,
freedom and liberty are at stake again today.

Nobody wanted then or now to be tethered to a corrupt, cowardly, and oppressive federal government in Washington D.C.

Get off our backs!

It’s time to bring all the power we gave away to the feds back to the states – back to the people!

Yes, I love America and I have no problem with citizens of any other country loving their countries more than they love America.

But If you can’t come legally, stay where you are! We don’t want you here!

As an American, I am interested in what is good for Americans, not foreigners.

If I go to your country, I expect your citizens to have priority. I won’t take any of your precious jobs, and I will bring a passport.

I want you to treat my country the same.  Any questions?

God helped the Patriots win America for Americans – not for anybody else.

Americans built this great country piece by piece. We made this country strong and we want to keep America strong.

Americans are exceptional people.

We are a melting pot of people who wanted more than anything to be Americans. It is a privilege to be an American.

We have nobody to apologize to. Nothing to apologize for. And we are not going to apologize for being Americans.

We are proud to be Americans.

It is OK to be a Democrat and be a TEA Party member. This wonderful group endorsed me in 2010 when I ran against a hard core 13 term incumbent for the Congress of the United States. I was a Democrat then and I am a Democrat now.

Not all TEA Party members are Republicans. Not all Democrats are hard core progressives. In fact, many Democrats are just like me.

How would you like to be us?

We woke up one day and found that our party had been hijacked by a group of people who hate America. You know who they are.

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama, and yes, Bob Casey Jr. are the visible heads of a deeper sickness.

Some think Democrats hate America. Not true. Democrats dont hate America but the leadership of the party in Washington sure seems to.

What about my primary opponent, Bob Casey?

Most Pennsylvanians do not know who the real Bob Casey actually is. In many ways he is the unknown Senator.

I can tell you who he is, because I have watched him during the Obama presidency.

If you like Barack Obama and his progressive policies, you are gonna love Bob Casey.

Here we are in Harrisburg, the Capitol of the State of Pennsylvania as short distance from St. Peters Basilica – whoops the Capitol Building – tough to tell them apart.

The Capitol building of course several blocks from here is beautiful and it is a great bastion of Liberty for all of us – we the people.

Don’t you just love being a Pennsylvanian.

Don’t you just love it in America!

I can assure you. I am ready for the challenge. I am fed up with the bloated, unresponsive bureaucracy in Washington.

When, with your grace I take a seat in the Senate of the United States, the Washington progressives will get the message.

The days of big government, big regulations, big giveaways, big healthcare takeovers, big healthcare redistribution and big wealth redistribution are over.

Yes, I sure am for helpless people but I am not for making people helpless.

America and Americans come first.

As most Pennsylvanians I too believe in the American Dream.

Quite frankly, I think Pennsylvanians are sick of the notion that the new American Dream is a handout.

With America in the shape that it is, I feel sometimes like I want to scream at the top of my lungs:

It is OK to love liberty and freedom.
It is OK to love God.
It is OK to love America.

To help restore a limited government and put the people back in charge, today I offer my candidacy as United States Senator from my state, the great state of Pennsylvania.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all.

I wish you all the best. God bless America.

Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania – December 20, 2011 - Brian Kelly announced today the availability of his new book titled, Kill the EPA. Kelly subtitled the book, “So Humans Can Live.” The subtitle is intended to convey the notion that Americans can be assured that the EPA cares a lot more that your lawn and shrubs survive, than that you survive the economic calamity in which we all live. Kelly would also bet that the EPA has a lot more concern for the grubs eating the roots of your grass and plants, and the whiteflies that are killing your personal tomato gardens, than it does about keeping you and other Americans healthy. There is this thought brought forth from studying environmentalists that the more humans that are made healthy, the more the healthy humans are enabled to pollute the environment and thus harm Mother Nature.

“If more Americans were willing to die gracefully and quietly, and not force the environment to endure human pollution, nature would surely have a better chance, and of course the EPA would be extremely pleased,” Kelly said.

“But, do we Americans fund an EPA so that more Americans should die because of its existence or so that more Americans can live and live longer and longer?  I hope it is the latter. Does the EPA prefer that more Boll Weevils and other predators, who work against human needs, should live instead, under the fully protected umbrella of a Mother Nature based EPA mantra? The EPA is documented for its support of extending the life of human predators so that the predators can live long lives. Is the EPA’s love of plants and animals and its hatred for human polluters based on the fact that the plant and animal world do not litter the highways?, Kelly wonders.

“Who is it that throws out gum wrappers and gummy bear boxes, juicy fruit containers, McDonald’s hamburger bags, and of course the utterly worst¬loaded disposable diapers from a miniature human, who simply cannot stop creating noise pollution, onto our precious roadways? Moreover, who is it that burns fuels that are harmful to the air just to keep warm and light the lights?. And, now of course who is it that exhales CO2, a banned EPA substance?” Can it be the human beings who live on Planet Earth?”  Kelly asks.

“The EPA believes that Mother Nature’s creatures of all kinds, harmful or not to mankind should be given the advantage. They slot the animal kingdom with free rein and free dominion over Mother Nature’s earth, and humans are quite annoying to their lot. Of course their philosophy has no notion of God in their preaching as God creates humans to have dominion over animals and plants, and God cares nothing about this fictitious notion called Mother Nature. Would you not expect if God were given a voice that the EPA would be the first government agency that the Lord would eliminate?” Kelly opines.

Kelly says that “Nobody wants life to be so bad that we cannot breathe, but we solved the major problems with US air way back. And, no I am not talking about the airlines that took back all my earned air miles credits simply because I had not flown in a year or two. And, of course I no longer fly US Air.”

Clean air is very important. In the 1960’s, for example, people on the freeways in Los Angeles could not breathe. With the middle class enjoying economic liberty, America had become more affluent and for the first time in American history, many families owned two cars or more, and they had room in the garage and driveway for all of them.

Gas was cheap at 20 cents a gallon and nobody seemed to care if the smoke out of the back of the car was white, clear, or black, as long as the “wheels moved,” and the experience was “cool.” Yet, some days, a human could not even see across the street.

In LA, the Interstate Highway System took on the name, “freeways”. They were great but with overuse, they soon became smog congested. Smog was a fog produced mostly from the smoke from car exhaust. It looked like fog but it was a lot less healthy than water vapor.

One day the worst that could happen actually happened. More than twenty people were killed on the freeways and none were involved in an auto accident. They simply could not breathe the air with all the smog. That's how bad it was. The media feasted on stories of California smog and it was highlighted on the news every night. The nation was alarmed since pollution had never before become a headline event. President Nixon and Congress were forced to take action, and from this, a new entity was born. It was called the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Before the EPA was fully staffed, Congress passed the Clean Air Act! And poof, the air was clean. Well, not exactly! But it was on its way to being clean. Today, Californians can see across the street and even further. The air has improved so much that the experts say, [really] totally clean air is within sight. Since the Clean Air Act, there has been a lot of good breathing going on, especially in the Golden State. California in fact, in all respects, is well ahead of the EPA standards today. The Clean Air Act did its major job in record time. Yet, despite its success with minimal staffing, the EPA continued to grow.

In the 1970’s the EPA was just a handful of dedicated people and they had the Congress on their side to get the right things done. These good natured lovers of nature camped in old wooden sided station wagons nicknamed “Woodie” back then. Over time, things have surely changed.

By 2012, from the simple Woodie, and a pack of dedicated America-first employees, the EPA has grown to over 18,000 nature-first shock troops. They always seem upset about something you or I are doing. The new EPA seems to hate mankind and it loves Mother Nature. They blame humans for pollution and sins against nature, and when they choose among a woman, a man, or a tree, the tree always seems to win.

President Obama has given this group of nature-first zealots immense power to regulate “We the people,” even when the US Congress disagrees. Today, for example, the EPA regulates silly stuff, such as light bulbs, farm dust, manure, and other non essentials, and two-ply toilet paper is definitely on their watch list. “Can we really afford this claptrap?” Kelly inquires.

Kelly writes that “If left on its own, the EPA would dictate a lights-out, energy deficient America.  A lights-on American is not a desire from this agency, which is more concerned about limiting personal freedom and ignoring the cumulative economic damage that their new regulations cause on the people and the economy in general than doing anything good for anybody. “

“The EPA has never once said they were hopeful that Americans would sustain or could gain jobs. So, perhaps this agency is honest as none of its regulations appear to be tuned in to the fact that Americans must work to survive. They are just inept and incapable of helping America. Ironically, the EPA, who claim to be environment first, fosters a Mercury-infested cfl bulb over Edison’s incandescent. They well know that when breakage occurs, it requires a haz-mat investigation. Is it possible that the EPA itself has become corrupt?”Kelly examines this possibility in this book.

“If the EPA was completely perfect in the 1970’s for all the great work that was done for clean air, it is now completely imperfect. It is actually ruining the America we all love. The pendulum has sprung and it is on its own, way out of control. This job preventing agency must be shut down for at least the next 20 years!” Kelly states

About The Author: Brian W. Kelly is one of America’s most outspoken and eloquent conservative spokesmen. Kelly wrote this book to help Americans know how bad the EPA has become in preventing America and Americans to live normal lives. Brian is frustrated with the devastation that the EPA causes in so many areas of life that are intrinsically important to humans.  Americans, like most people, need heat, light, and food. The EPA suggests that in providing that to Americans, nature is harmed. You make the call yourself. Brian Kelly has already decided that it is time to Kill the EPA and Kelly tells you the details of why and how in this book.

Kelly is the author of Taxation Without Representation, Obama’s Seven Deadly Sins, Americans Need Not Apply, Healthcare Accountability, RRR, and many other books. Like many Americans, Brian is fed up with this progressive / Marxist agenda in Washington that places the needs of everyone and everything, including Mother Nature in front of the needs of Americans.

Brian Kelly is running for the US Senate in Pennsylvania as a Democrat against incumbent Robert P. Casey, Jr. His campaign has made most of the chapters of this book, Kill the EPA available for download for free on his campaign web site, www.kellyforussenate.com. Senator Casey Ignores Democratic Candidate Brian Kelly’s Request to Debate:

Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania – December 29, 2011 - Brian Kelly, Democratic US Senatorial Candidate from Wilkes-Barre PA, publicly announced today that he has invited Senator Robert P. Casey, Jr. of Scranton, PA to a televised debate in a modified Lincoln Douglas style at the Barney Inn in Wilkes-Barre PA.

Kelly emailed the Senator on December 15, and promised to wait seven days, hoping to be able to include Senator Casey’s response in this press release. After fourteen days, Senator Casey has not responded.

“Senator Casey knows that I am just an ordinary Pennsylvania citizen and just as he has ignored my pleas and the requests of other Pennsylvanians over his five years in the US Senate, the Senator has again chosen to ignore what is best for Pennsylvanians, hoping that you and I will simply go away. However, I have no plans to go away, and with America in dire need of recovery, I bet you have no plans to go away either.” Kelly said.

October 21, 2011 Barney Inn

Good afternoon ---   My name is Brian Kelly.

On Tuesday Morning, I was at Independence Hall in Philadelphia where I received the endorsement of the Independence Hall Tea Party. I am a TEA Party member and I love what the TEA Party does for regular Americans like you and I.

1. Americans First, 2. Fiscal Conservative 3. Pro Life 4. Restructure Tax system, 5. Smaller Government, 6.Transparency, 7.Pro Israel, 8. Strong Defense

The details follow:

1. Americans First – American Jobs, border security, fence, states’ rights, shut down excessive legal and all illegal immigration, BTW, over 2.2 million legal aliens get jobs each year in the US? Let’s reduce it to .2 (point 2) Reward businesses that hire Americans. No tax breaks for companies that offshore jobs. Huge unemployment tax on companies found using illegal labor. 25% import tax on Chinese goods and goods produced overseas by any American corporation. Just watch the jobs come back. If Americans corporations want to take American jobs overseas, let’s invite overseas business to set up plants in America, and give Americans those jobs in America. Oh, and it is OK when if foreign companies manufacturing in America take the business from so-called American corporations. Let’s support corporations that love America and who give Americans Jobs. Let the others sell their stuff overseas.

2. Fiscal Conservative--- no bailouts, no takeovers, no porkulus, no government takeover of business. Need balanced budget amendment, reinstitute Glass Steagall, repeal CRA, repeal Dodd / Frank!

3. Pro-Life – Human life begins at conception
4. Restructure tax system – Reduce taxes John Kennedy style and the FAIR Tax. The 9, 9, 9 is a good start. Offshoring companies get no breaks. Companies that hire illegals – no tax breaks

5. Smaller Government – Ron Paul says government agencies are unconstitutional. He’s right Eliminate harmful, costly agencies such as the EPA, FDA, USDA, Interior, etc. Repeal Obamacare.
6. Transparency / accountability – openness, No closed doors. Fire all czars
7. Pro Israel – Israel is our only friend in the Middle East
8. Strong Defense—“Speak softly and carry a big stick,” Don’t go starting wars. Win all wars in which we engage. Use big drones and microdrones. We have 8000 drones & $5 Billion in budget – use ‘em. not American blood. Exit strategy -- get out quickly with a win. Send in the drone dragonflies. It will seem like one of the 10 plagues.

Today, JFK, my favorite Democrat, would be considered a conservative!

My views on taxation are very similar to JFK’s.

His were modeled after those of Andrew Mellon from the 1920’s recession.
Both Mellon and JFK knew how to end a recession and so do I.

You all know how Bob Casey and his best friend Barack Obama want to raise everybody’s taxes. Kennedy would not approve.

Here’s what Kennedy had to say. He offered similar thoughts many times:

"In short, it is a paradoxical truth that ... the soundest way to raise the revenues in the long run is to cut the rates now… And the reason is that only full employment can balance the budget, and tax reduction can pave the way to that employment. The purpose of cutting taxes now is not to incur a budget deficit, but to achieve the more prosperous, expanding economy which can bring a budget surplus."
--- JFK, Nov. 20, 1962, news conference  BTW, that was right after the Cuban Missile Crisis. Kennedy was already on to domestic issues.

If the Dems had listened to Kennedy, our current recession would be over

By cutting taxes up and down the line and reducing spending, JFK was looking for a big revenue surplus – not a deficit.

By increasing spending and increasing taxes Obama has been creating huge deficits and increasing debt and preparing America for bankruptcy.

Obama is far more tricky than even Tricky Dicky Nixon. He's got a new name for this trick now that he is trying to get reelected again. He calls it a Jobs bill.  I call it tax and spend.

What does the so called jobs bill have in it?

It’s the same porkulus / stimulus stuff with lipstick
--  increased spending, increased taxes, larger deficits and  crippling debt.

Even the Beatles would call out Obama and Casey on this. Remember this tune?- “No, No, No, Not a Second Time…”

Obama and Casey used a trillion dollars of stimulus for crony capitalism for their big campaign donors. Americans have smartened up. No more taxpayer money for reelection campaigns.

Senator Bob Casey has been with Obama 98% of the time. That means he has been with Pennsylvanians only 2% of the time. By the way, that Beatles song applies to Casey also No, No, No, Not a Second Time --

I love the United States of America just as it was founded in 1776.
In those days, Independence Hall, where I was on Tuesday, meant independence for all---

Much revolutionary blood was spilled for our freedom and liberty, and yet,
freedom and liberty are at stake again today.

Nobody wanted then or now to be tethered to a corrupt, cowardly, and oppressive federal government in Washington D.C. So let us all tell the Federal Government:

What about my primary opponent, the Unknown Senator Bob Casey?     I have watched him closely during the Obama presidency.

If you like Barack Obama and his progressive policies, you are gonna love Bob Casey.

Here we are in Wilkes-Barre at the Barney Inn, a wonderful place run by Joe Fisher and Joe Predo, where more blarney has surely been spilled than Youngling Lager.

Don’t you just love it in America!  And! How about that Yuengling Lager brewed in Pottsville Pennsylvania! My dad worked for Stegmaier for 31 years, and we know the Lion carries on the tradition of good brew right here in Wilkes-Barre.  But we all have to earn our brew.

There are a lot of problems that need to be solved

Like you, I am fed up with the bloated, unresponsive bureaucracy in Washington.

When, with your grace I take a seat in the Senate of the United States OF America, the Washington progressives will get the message.

The days of big government, big regulations, big giveaways, big healthcare takeovers, big healthcare redistribution and big wealth redistribution are over.

Yes, I sure am for helpless people but I am not for making people helpless!

By the way, progressives are the guys that don’t like any of us and they probably don’t even like Yuengling Lager or Stegmaier Gold Medal Beer.

Don’t you think that in America, Americans should come first?

As most Pennsylvanians I too believe in the American Dream.

Quite frankly, I think Pennsylvanians are sick of the progressive’s notion that the new American Dream is … a handout.

With America in the shape that it is, I feel sometimes like I want to scream at the top of my lungs. But because you are all my friends, I won’t.

It is OK to love liberty and freedom.

It is OK to love God.

It is OK to love America.”

To help restore a limited government and put the people back in charge, today, I offer my candidacy as United States Senator from your state and my state, the great state of Pennsylvania!

I promise to speak out of one side of my mouth and I pledge to represent the people of Pennsylvania honestly and truthfully. My word is my bond.

It is time to heal America and again make her strong.

Please join in as we recite the pledge of allegiance.

I, pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all.

I wish you all the best. God bless America.

Senate Candidate Kelly’s Top Priority – Economic Recovery

The top priority for a Brian Kelly Senate term is easy to identify. The US is so down that I think the best use for the time any Washington official can spend on the affairs of government is to help the US economy recover, and for Pennsylvania legislators it is to also assure that Pennsylvania gets jobs and a proper share in the recovery.

You know that Mark Twain once observed that a lie can get halfway around the world before the truth can even get its boots on. His observation rings true as we see urban legends, conspiracy theories, and bogus public-health scares circulating effortlessly. Yet, people with really important ideas often find the ideas go nowhere.

Think of business people, teachers, journalists, and even those trying to accomplish political goals such as getting elected Senator of these United States. Think how they all struggle to make their unique ideas stick.  Sometimes the marketing in these cases appears far more important than the message as the intended recipients (we the people in most cases) are mostly numb from all the marketing. So, in addition to having a good plan, our legislators must be able to communicate that plan so that the people understand it and can differentiate that plan against all others purporting to be “the” solution.

PA US Senate Candidate Kelly Challenges Presidential Candidates to Adopt Unique RRR Plan

Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania – January 11, 2012 --- Brian Kelly, a US Senate Candidate from Pennsylvania today announced an original approach to re-awaken the US economy with a concept that he calls     R-R-R: a unique plan for economic recovery and job creation. Kelly is offering the plan, complimentary—free-of-charge to all presidential candidates, including President Barack H. Obama and any Democrat who chooses to challenge the current President.

“I think that any of the Republican candidates can get the same level of traction from adopting the Kelly RRR plan as Herman Cain got from announcing his 999 plan. All presidential candidates are welcome to co-opt the entire RRR plan and make RRR their own mantra. RRR is not only a sound plan for recovery; it is actually a great marketing notion.

“Since I have a marketing background in that I worked for IBM and I taught Marketing Management as my first collegiate undergraduate course, I guarantee that any candidate can secure marketing traction by adopting the RRR plan as his own plan. I am more concerned about saving the country from its current death spiral than I am about any rights of my own to this comprehensive RRR plan,” Kelly said.

"Pennsylvanians must understand that the reckless spending and zealous regulatory policies of Casey and Obama have cost the United States trillions of dollars, and are directly responsible for the joblessness and double-dip recession that is hurting America Neither Casey nor Obama have much personal experience with private sector jobs so it is understandable that their solutions are way off the mark and have not worked. Unfortunately, Americans are paying big time for their incompetence and indifference.” Said Kelly

There is little doubt that these are tough times. Nobody really knows how many dips there will be in this recession. But we do know that without controls on spending, our wild deficit and debt will keep us in recession for years to come. America needs to become like we were before the progressives-- Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and of course Pennsylvania’s own Bob Casey Jr.-- took power from the people. Kelly’s eight principles are as follows:

1. Americans First – Border security, fence, States’ rights, shut down excessive legal and all illegal immigration, reward businesses that hire Americans

Kelly says: “Today, JFK would be considered a conservative!” He finds his views on taxation to be very similar to JFK’s:

“John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s views were modeled after those of Andrew Mellon, who had the Timothy Geithner job (Treasury Secretary) during the 1920’s recession.

…Both Mellon and JFK knew how to end a recession and so do I.” stated Kelly.

Here’s what Kennedy had to say about taxing and spending. We present two quotes:

"In short, it is a paradoxical truth that ... the soundest way to raise the revenues in the long run is to cut the rates now… And the reason is that only full employment can balance the budget, and tax reduction can pave the way to that employment. The purpose of cutting taxes now is not to incur a budget deficit, but to achieve the more prosperous, expanding economy which can bring a budget surplus."

--- From JFK, Nov. 20, 1962, news conference   By the way, this Kennedy speech was right after the Cuban Missile Crisis. Kennedy was already trying to solve domestic issues.

Here’s another Kennedy quote on taxation:

"Lower rates of taxation will stimulate economic activity and so raise the levels of personal and corporate income as to yield within a few years an increased – not a reduced – flow of revenues to the federal government."

– From JFK Jan 17, 1963, annual budget message to Congress, fiscal year 1964

“If the Democrats had listened to Kennedy, our current recession would be over.” Kelly quipped.

Independence Park Speech October 18, 2011

Philadelphia

TEA Party Endorsement

Good Morning    ------ My name is Brian Kelly.

First of all, I want to thank the Independence Hall Tea Party, especially Don Adams, for inviting me here today. I am a TEA Party member and I love what the TEA Party does for regular Americans like you and I. Thank you Don, and this great TEA Party organization for your endorsement.
I am happy to announce that I am running for the Senate of the United States of America against Robert P. Casey Jr.

If the Dems had listened to Kennedy, our current recession would be over

“I want you all to know that you can rely on me as to where I stand on all of the issues that we are facing.

God helped the Patriots win America for Americans – not for anybody else

Here we are in Philadelphia in the sight of Liberty, the home of freedom and equality, the home of Ben Franklin, and "We the People. Don’t you just love it here!

It is OK to love America.”

To help restore a limited government and put the people back in charge, today I offer my candidacy as United States Senator from my state, the great state of Pennsylvania.

I, pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all.

I wish you all the best. God bless America.
